東河東水質凈化廠2003年底建成。該廠設計污水處理能力為2萬噸/日，工藝為傳統活性污泥法，二級處理，服務范圍為一中西路以東及東河槽兩側區域，服務面積7.08km2，服務人口8.29萬人。
